Jennifer Lopez Sizzles In Reincarnation Of Famous Plunging Grammy’s Dress At Bronx Gig

Jennifer Lopez dazzled fans at Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx on Wednesday night, strutting her stuff in the tough New York City neighborhood where she grew up.

The singer/actress wore a swimsuit-like costume that resembled the tantalizing low-cut dress she wore to the 2000 Grammy Awards (see that photo below).

It was the first time Lopez performed in the area since she released her first album in 1999. Locals weren’t thrilled about the concert because they were concerned about traffic, and the City Island Civic Association tried to get the show canceled.

Although the event was packed, not everyone was thrilled with her decision to perform at Bay Park. One Bronx resident told the New York Post: “She’s been making all this money… but she doesn’t even help out the neighborhood. Most of the people I know think she’s a sellout.”

Lopez sang “If You Had My Love,” “Jenny From The Block” and other hit songs, telling the crowd: “I’m so happy to be home.” She tweeted afterwards: “Had so much fun tonight! Thank you #JLovers #JLoComingHome.”

Lopez, now 44, looked amazing 14 years ago (with then-boyfriend Sean “Puffy” Combs) and still looks amazing. She made headlines for her provocative Grammy’s dress – a style celebrities now wear regularly.
