Charlotte Hornets Legend, Muggsy Bogues, has Biopic in the WORKS!

The “full-length movie” to tell story of the 5’3″ Charlotte Hornets Guard; Muggsy Bogues.

Muggsy Bogues has had many honors throughout his life, before, during and after his time with the Charlotte Hornets. Wednesday, another new honor for the former point guard was announced — a movie about his life.

The poster was released to social media yesterday via Jay Menez, a producer, director and actor who, according to his IMDB page, is best known for his works on Sanctuary, Seal of Solomon and The Fear.

The film, Menez says, will be based on the former Hornets guard, “someone who learned to believe in himself and never accepted the impossible.”

The posts all link to a website, which currently is not much more than a place where one can enter their email address to be sent updates on the film.

No further details, such as who shall play the point guard and a release date, have yet to be released, but it is something all Hornets fans should keep an eye out for.
