Momentum continues to build for Toronto rapper Shah, with his latest release Pay Day 71. Already having been listed as one of the rising rappers contributing to New York’s resurgence, earning the nickname ‘New York’s Favorite Toronto rapper,’ Shah emerged as one of the most buzzed-about artists from October’s A3C Festival in Atlanta, alongside fellow rappers on their come up Young Dolph and Cousin Stizz. Atlanta’s response to Shah’s latest single Pay Day 71 has led to the track becoming a strip club anthem. The track has also garnered acclaim for bringing attention to the gender wage gap. The song title refers to female workers earning only 71% of their male counterparts. Check out the fourth installment of Shah’s audiovisual series Pay Day 71.
