Bullet aka OG Splif is a recording artist from Los Angeles California. Born and raised in LA, Bullet raps about growing up living the street life. He has a positive message and hopes to inspire the youth. Splif was involved with gangs at the young age of 14 and was on a path that would have ended in death or prison. He recorded a rap demo with childhood friends Trouble and Kevin. The song immediately received a good response on the streets and Bullet found himself at Deathrow Records headquarters, negotiating a venture that would involve Deathrow Records and Chicano Rap artists being on the label. Unfortunately, Deathrow went under and the projects were never released, but we can still hear some tracks that feature Kurupt and Petey Pablo on his YouTube page. Bullet also has worked with Deathrow producers . He then later went on to sign a deal with Thump/Universal releasing “Str8 from tha Streets” back in 07. He has since then fulfilled his contract and is now releasing music thru his independent imprint “Jack Boys Music”.
Bullet’s first indie release is a 12 track project titled “OG Splif (The Jack Move).” It is available on all streaming services. “OG Splif (The Jack Move)” has already sold 10,000 units in the streets and at swap-meets. The first single from this project is produced by Yak Money and is titled “It Was All A Dream”.
