Ariana Grande Named New Viva Glam Ambassador for MAC Cosmetics

Pop singer Ariana Grande is officially the new face for MAC Cosmetic’s Viva Glam campaign. The starlet’s first collection will feature a dark plum lipstick and a pink lip gloss. The launch date is set for January 2016. With previous Viva Glam ambassadors including Rihanna and Miley Cyrus, Miss Grande is in excellent company. Grande has co-created two lip products: a moody matte plum lipstick and a shimmery, lacquer-like pink lipglass. Of course, both products totally match the singer’s cute but dramatic makeup M.O.

 

“#VIVAGLAM @maccosmetics I am beyond honored and excited to be working with a brand that stands for and always has stood for EQUALITY. my lipstick & gloss will be available in January and EVERY PENNY goes to people effected by HIV & AIDS,” she shared on Instagram. “I have loved & supported @maccosmetics ever since I was a little girl walking through the mall and saw your first #VIVAGLAM girl in the window @rupaulofficial. I’m so honored!!!”

Every cent of each product sold from the star’s charitable lip line will go toward women, men and children living with HIV/AIDS. The “Viva Glam” line isn’t the pop star’s first foray into the beauty world. In September, Grande launched her first-ever fragrance, aptly named ARI by Ariana Grande.
