Pitbull is set to work with Fox to develop a drama series, titled 305, about a wealthy community in Miami.
The project, written by Sascha Penn, will follow teenager Willy and his story as a transfer student into one of Miami’s most prestigious private schools, Variety reports. The character moves in with his uncle, a celebrity chef.
Jonathan Levine, whose directing credits include films such as Warm Bodies and 50/50, will direct the show. Armando Christian Perez, aka Pitbull, will work alongside Levine as the executive producer.
Though the rapper is most accustomed to taking command of the stage with chart-topping hits, the show will be a new and exciting venture for Pitbull to take on.
