Since 2006, we’ve known that Shakira‘s hips never, ever lie.
Almost ten years later, the Colombiana’s hit song “Hips Don’t Lie” is still our go-to body-shaking tune.
Honduran-Canadian singer and YouTube sensation Daniela Andrade gave the song a whole new spin in a cover posted to YouTube. The video shows Andrade singing an acoustic version of the hit for about a minute and a half, before the camera reveals that Shakira is sitting right there along with her. “I love that version. Wow,” the singer says.
And with that, Shakira gives her much-desired stamp of approval. Watch the video about to hear the new rendition of the song.
