Lamar Odom defied all odds and worked a miracle when he got up and took a few steps without any help. Khloé Kardashian must be so proud!
The 36-year-old basketball star surprised even his doctors when he walked entirely on his own, according to TMZ. Up until now, he’s only been able to get around with a walker.
Kardashian, 31, has yet to comment on the major milestone, which happened Thursday. We’re betting she’s over the moon, though!
Lamar will be moved to a rehab facility “soon,” the site says. He’s been in the hospital since a major drug overdose in October left him unconscious and fighting for his life.
Khloé and Lamar split up two years ago this month but halted divorce proceedings in the midst of his medical crisis.
Lamar is also showing slow but steady improvements in his brain function, reports TMZ. He was recently able to recognize a hospital staffer, which is huge considering that earlier in his recovery, he didn’t even know some members of his own family.
