Phonte Announces New Album

News / February 25, 2016

Fans of Phonte and the rest of the Foreign Exchange Music roster are most certainly rejoicing at the recent announcement of new projects from the label. But what caught the eye of Hip-Hop listeners was the triumphant return to rhyming from the former Little Brother front man and the title of his second solo album, No News Is Good News.

Phonte’s first solo album, Charity Starts At Home, was released in 2011 after much fanfare and years of supporters wondering if he’d ever go back to his rapping roots. Via Instagram, Tigallo shared FE Music’s upcoming releases from ZO!, an unnamed Eric “Erro” Roberson joint project, and the new solo record.

Simply captioned “Get Ready. #FEMusic, ” the post said all it needed.

No News Is Good News is slated for a Sept. 30 release. ZO! will release his latest project, SkyBreak, on May 2o. The Erro/Phonte project drops on July 22.

Get ready. #FEMusic
