The Lakers and Warriors preseason game at the Valley View Casino Center was called off last night near the end of the third quarter due to poor floor conditions that caused players to slip often. Warriors big man Festus Ezeli probably wishes it was called a few minutes earlier because then Larry Nance Jr. wouldn’t have had the opportunity to obliterate him with a ferocious tomahawk slam.
Thankfully for us, Nance did get that opportunity, and the Lakers’ rookie lived to his namesake and posterized Festus just like his dad used to. The dunk was already amazing, but Nance’s immediate reaction to stealing a man’s soul on live television? Well that made it even better.

I guess when you have a 44′ vertical dunking on 7-footers is no biggie. The Lakers eventually got the slippery floor-shortened 85-70 win over the reigning champs after the game was called with 2:16 left to go in the third quarter.
Nance wasn’t the only guy out there going viral with ridiculous highlights. Steph Curry flashed some more Steph magic earlier in the game. Even Nick Young got into the act, nailing three straight three-pointers, including a four-point play on the last one and this amazing picture to boot.
