Following his single “Your Lovely Lovin” from his 2014 debut album release entitled “1879,” MC Lyte’s protégé, singer-songwriter/producer Joe Ryan, premiered a new song “The Best” a few weeks back.
On the simple catchy tune, Joe sings the praises of his girl, putting her on a pedestal, “Baby you da best, I’mma hold you down, don’t worry ‘bout the rest,” he states on the hook.
Ryan’s debut single was the 2014 track “Ride or Die ft. Lil Mama,” and he’s earned multiple music production placements with chart topping artists such as Ledisi, Leela James (“Fall For You”), Kem, and Snoop Dogg, also appearing on multiple episodes of TV One’s “R&B Divas: Los Angeles” .
With the success of his debut album 1879 (in which the title symbolizes the amount of miles he drove to pursue his dreams of being a musician), expect a lot of movement in the music industry from Joe Ryan.
“The Best” stems from his upcoming EP entitled “3iiiRD” due out in 2016. Check the visual below!
